I purchased a tracfone on tracphone website. When my order arrived I was very pleased and anticipated enjoying this phone in the future... when making calls the phonecall cut off With a NO SIGNAL signal alert just after a few min. In the call... I've spent 7 to 8 hour being transferred from one repetitive to another to have a replacement phone sent to me, no one wanted to help me, crazy people to deal with, this is my first time writing a review & of course the first time a bad review I will take down this review once I will receive a new phone, after talking with tracfone for more then 7 hour & they relized that they are simple wrong they just knock down the phone on me what a shame, no words to explain what bad customer service this is,
Hopefully tracfone will understand that they need to work on customer service to make a customer happy
Terrible customer service, I had to contact them four times and never got a straight answer!

4+ Weeks and counting still no replacement on a $1,400 cell phone purchase! From May 22,2021 till now 06-18-2021 Straight Talk has not figured out how to get my replacement phone to me. When I first called them on May 22,2021 they said they were shipping the replacement phone immediately and I should have it within 3 to 5 business days. After the 5th day and no phone I called Straight Talk only for them to tell me they were waiting for me to mail them the defected phone. So that's my 1 Week wasted without a phone! So, the return label that they sent me on May 22,2021 for me to return the defected phone in did not have a barcode or QR code; therefore, UPS, could not use the label. So I spent the 2nd week calling and emailing straight talk for them to please send the correct return label inform and they simply could not seem to get the correct UPS label to me. So finally they said it would take another 3 to 5 business days for them to send me a UPS Package for me to put my phone in and then ship it to them. So now it's Friday June 4th, the 2nd week without a phone $1,400 phone. Frustrated, I paid $42.45 out of my pocket for the USPS to ship it next day to Straight Talk 5501 Centrepointe Dr. LA Vergne, TN 37086. Straight Talk signed for it on Monday 06-06-2021. When I called them they said they had no record of it and that I would have to call the warehouse and track where the phone might be. Seriously! To cut to the chase, for the past 4 weeks I've been told that "the phone was not in stock", "we still don't see where the old phone was returned", "you'll have your new phone in 3 to 5 business days", "we've expedited your replacement order", "we will call you tomorrow to make sure you have your new phone", "they should not have told you we would send the new phone without the old one being returned", "sorry we cannot give you a refund", "yes we will send your refund when we get the defected phone"... It has been pure H. LL dealing with Straight Talk. I'm requesting a refund and they will not grant it and as of today the lady named Mary said they have no record that the phone has been received... What? I contact an attorney next week! To not make any purchases through Straight Talk! Purchase your phones from a place where you can get face to face service.

If I could give negative numbers, I would. Please try an alternative company before you invest your time and money with Tracfone. 5 phone calls, 1 chat, 9 people and 8 hours - 32 minutes later, I still don't have service. Every step of the way was a hurdle or an issue AND THEY HANG UP ON YOU! If they cannot help you. It was like I was in an endless loop of NO ONE doing their job. I have never experienced such poor customer service with any company (with the exception on one person - Jemie - she was very helpful). Bottom Line - after getting everything setup, they could not give me a telephone number that wasn't previously assigned to someone else. That wouldn't be such a big deal BUT THEIR NAME shows up (not mine) every time I called someone. No one will pick up the phone if they don't recognize the person calling. They think it is a spam call.
They will lie to you and try to make you believe it is the truth. They really have no useful customer support.
The personal of the largest comsumer ripoff l have ever encounter in my life. I have heard of comsumer ripoffs before, but this comany beats them all. Lost all of my minutes, Phone number, said l transfered my minutes to another Phone but, did no such Thing. Everybody that has delt with this company knows the procedures etc. There should be a lawsuite filed. ????
Not sure why anyone would ever use Tracfone. Their attitude is "we offer low cost plans but NO service". We have a plan with 4000 unused minutes and 4500 texts. The service end date is two weeks away. Due to the pandemic and the fact that as snowbirds we have not able to travel from Canada to the US for almost 16 months, we have not been able to use our "US" Tracfone during this period.
I called Customer Service with a simple request. After explaining our continuing predicament in some detail, I asked if the service end date could be extended until the Fall, when hopefully the reopening of the border would enable us to return to our Florida residence and begin to use our prepaid and unused talk and text time. I was routed through 3 reps, with each coming up with a different reason why they could/would not even consider extending the service end date. After spending an increasingly frustrating hour, I simply gave up.
We will lose our Florida phone number in 2 weeks. Tracfone has lost yet another loyal customer forever.
We purchased the phone for travel + 200 minutes. Used less than 10 minutes and then they expired. When people tried to return my calls someone other than myself answered and whoever she was she was extremely rude. I thought there may have been a mistake logging minutes so I purchased a card for 400 minutes and the same thing happened. The phone is impossible to use and altogether I used less than an hour in minutes that I paid over 70.00 for. This company is a joke and some of their employees are dishonest to the core. BEWARE of this company. Something is terribly wrong with the people selling their services...
My tracfone swipe to answer did not work. I called on April 28th. Then the nightmare of bad service and lies started. It is now May 26th, and still no replacement phone or shipping tracking number. I have been without a phone for 4 weeks and counting. As of the 24th, the shipping department still had not recorded receipt via UPS of the old phone (mailed on May 4th via UPS), so would not ship the replacement. On the 17th, I was told it had been shipped and would arrive on or before the 23rd. They used to give decent service, but not in 2021. Avoid if possible unless you can handle lies and evasions.
UPDATE: instead of communicating as the said, the situation has gotten worse. After another long session trying to connect, they started the prepaid clock without being able to provide service. I called Motorola and they said some companies have such a limited bandwidth that some phone do not work. Their website said mine would work and no support person suggested otherwise. Collecting fees without providing service is certainly not novel, but is it legal?
Bought a sim card fromTarget store. Jumps through hoops to get the pone activated. Can call and receive but no internet. The card say 4gig of data paid 25 dollars but no way to access. Called tracfone customer service. Off shore tech support can barely understand what they say. After an hour of frustrating with them but still no dice. Worthless scam. Filipine call center speaks very poor english.
After trying to use trac phone service for several years and having no reliable service, we decided to cancel it. We were told we would have to have our phone unlocked, we would have to contact trac phone to unlock our phone. Upon doing this, trac phone told us that we would have to wait 48 hours and we would receive a email and our phone would be unlocked. Of course in true trac-phone fashion we recieved nothing and our phone was still locked when we tried to add a new phone service. When contacting Trac Phone again, they told us they had no record of our previous conversation even though we had a reference number for that conversation. WOW. DON'T USE TRAC-PHONE They suck and we are extremely disappointed with their service
Do not order no phones with Trac phone they are liars. I rated them a 1 view for their survey. They charged my husband account twice 111.39. For the same phone. When he only needed one phone and placed the order with an call representative. They refused to provide tracking numbers but gave an order number it's stealing. Lied about giving him an email for tracking his cell phone. Im disputing the issue with my bank now and he's definitely getting his money back. Our overall experience has been awful! Customer service is awful!
I can't make international calls with my phone! So fuckem this is good. I was going to add $ I'll just get a new phone. Complete ripoff on the global card. I'm glad I only added $15 this month anyway I want a new phone:)
I had been happy for years with Tracfone. Mostly use it for texting. They removed the add-on feature that let you buy 1000 additional texts for $5... Now, if you use all your texts in your plan year, you must buy a monthly service plan that costs a minimum of $15 or $20 per month. This change was made in the middle of my current annual service term. Believe me, texts go quickly, and I've usedall 1500 texts four months into my annual term. Be very careful what you pay for with Tracfone. Hidden costs make this $100 phone now cost over $300 for the year..
